The British tennis star earned the most notable success of his professional journey by rebounding from a lost first set to beat world No 1 Carlos Alcaraz 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 in the early stage of the prestigious indoor tournament.

Even though he had earlier defeated Alcaraz on two prior meetings, this win signifies Norrie's maiden success over a current world top-ranked player.
