Artist D4vd Allegedly Named as Suspect in Fatal Case of Teen Found in Tesla

The performer known as D4vd was listed as a person of interest in the death of Celeste Rivas, a young girl who went missing and was later found deceased inside the artist's Tesla car this past fall, according to authorities.

Location of the Remains

The deteriorated remains of Rivas, aged fifteen, was discovered in September inside the front storage compartment of a black Tesla linked to D4vd, whose legal name is David Anthony Burke. The car had been cited in a Los Angeles neighborhood and then confiscated at a impound lot in the city.

Sequence of Occurrences

Investigators theorize that Rivas almost certainly succumbed in the spring, noting that D4vd had likely helped in cutting up and disposing of the remains. The singer has not been cooperative in the inquiry, per a official source.

The teenager Rivas was originally declared missing from a city 60 miles from Los Angeles in April 2024. Her remains was eventually discovered in the musician's Tesla after employees at a towing company reported a strong stench emanating from the car.

D4vd, pronounced as “David,” is a New York-born artist known for the popular songs “Romantic Homicide” and “Here With Me.” The artist and his manager were staying at a Los Angeles home in the Los Angeles neighborhood in September, per the property's owner, until police searched the property.

D4vd has signed with record labels. He was traveling for performances at the time Rivas's corpse were discovered, but terminated those performances following the location of Rivas's body.
